Our Journey: Designed by Collectors, Created with Heart

For us, a Hermès bag has never been just an accessory. It reflects exceptional craftsmanship, timeless luxury, and the quiet joy of owning something truly special.

As lifelong handbag collectors, we could not find a handbag insert that truly checked every box for us, so we decided to create one ourselves. What appeared to be a simple organiser soon became a journey shaped by patience, persistence, and countless setbacks. From 2019 to our full launch in 2026, we invested years of time, effort, and resources into finding the right materials, construction, and craftsmanship to bring our vision to life.

We tested more than 30 premium fabrics and countless prototypes, refining every detail along the way. Some were too soft. Others too bulky. Some lacked the level of refinement we envisioned. Along the journey, we worked with artisans across different countries, eventually choosing Italy and Vietnam for their deep-rooted traditions in sewing and workmanship.

With every attempt, shaped by our own years as Hermès and Chanel collectors and supported by feedback from fellow Hermès aficionados and luxury bag collectors, we moved closer to our vision of modern handbag care: an insert crafted with intention — practical and worthy of the bags that it was created for.

We also wanted a practical solution for collectors with more than one bag. Ultrasuede® offered a neutral grey shade with no added dyestuff, which helped address our concerns around colour bleed. We no longer needed to match different insert colours to each handbag, allowing for greater versatility and value over time.

Our first love was the Hermès Constance, where our Signature Double Insert was born: a single-piece, two-compartment design created to help protect the delicate interior lining with grace and simplicity.

From there, our collection gradually expanded to include inserts for other iconic handbags, each created with the same focus on elegant organisation and everyday practicality.

Today, every LotusInserts™ organiser is made in limited quantities by skilled artisans and carries its own unique serial number, reflecting a commitment to care and craftsmanship over volume.

More than an insert, it is a quiet companion for the bags that mean so much.
